Delivery Information
Everything you need to know about receiving your Hibbards order — and how to keep it safe once it arrives.
Local Delivery
Fresh deliveries are sent out weekday mornings, Monday to Friday.
Your order is prepared fresh at Hibbards Butchery, kept chilled until dispatch, and packed appropriately to help maintain a safe temperature during delivery.
Please provide your correct delivery address, postcode, phone number and any delivery instructions when placing your order.
If nobody will be home, please nominate a safe, shaded place where the courier can leave your order. We strongly recommend leaving out a chilly bin or insulated container, particularly during warmer weather.
Once delivered, please bring your order inside as soon as possible and place chilled meat directly into the refrigerator and frozen products into the freezer.
For food safety, meat and other perishable products should not be left unrefrigerated for extended periods. Hibbards Butchery cannot guarantee the condition or safety of an order where delivery has been completed correctly but the order has subsequently been left unattended or unrefrigerated.
Delivery Areas
Delivery availability and charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and postcode.
Some rural, non-urban or out-of-area addresses may not be available through our standard delivery service. If delivery doesn’t appear as an option at checkout, please check that your address and postcode have been entered correctly.

Keeping Your Meat Safe
We follow our Food Control Plan when preparing, storing and dispatching orders. When your order arrives:
- Chilled meat: Refrigerate promptly and keep at 5°C or colder.
- Frozen meat: Place in the freezer promptly.
- Vacuum-packed meat: Keep refrigerated and follow the use-by/storage information provided.
If a product arrives warm, damaged, leaking, or you’re concerned it hasn’t remained safely chilled, please do not consume it. Contact Hibbards Butchery as soon as possible so we can help.
